Define where the negotiation applies

Choose the products, category or price range where bepleez can negotiate, so you can start safely.

The goal

For your first days, bepleez doesn't need to apply to your whole catalog. You choose the products it can negotiate on; the others keep their price and don't show the button.

How to do it

Open your dashboard, Strategies menu.
Open your strategy (by default, the starter strategy).
In the Products covered block, add a rule:
- Product category: type the name of a category in your shop, the list completes itself;
- Price range: a minimum and a maximum price;
- Product list: search a product by name, or paste the address (URL) of its product page, then click the result. Repeat to add more; the cross removes a product.
Save.

You can add several rules: a product is covered as soon as one of them matches. With no rule at all, the strategy applies to every product.

How you know it's done

The step is ticked in your dashboard as soon as a negotiation strategy contains at least one product rule.

It doesn't work?

The button doesn't show on a product: check that it matches one of your rules, and that the strategy is Active (see "Activate your strategy").
The product search finds nothing: try a shorter word from the name, or paste the product page URL (it ends with /products/product-name).
The category doesn't autocomplete: the list comes from your Shopify catalog. If it is empty, check that your products have a category set in Shopify.
