# bepleez > bepleez adds an AI negotiation agent to online stores: a hesitating shopper gets a personalised price within a limit set by the merchant; the displayed price does not change. ## For developers (no Shopify needed) - [Developer quick start](https://www.bepleez.com/en/support/developers): open a negotiation, counter-offer, accept, verify the signed agreement token. - Transport: MCP (JSON-RPC over HTTPS), `Authorization: Bearer `. Tools: request_offer, counter_offer, accept_offer, get_thread. Contract version 2026-11-02. - The product record comes from the merchant's backend and is frozen when the negotiation opens. A price of 0 or a missing price is refused. - counter_offer requires an idempotency_key; retry after a timeout with the same key. Use async=true for slow turns, then poll get_thread. - accept_offer returns agreement.deal_token (RS256 JWT, public key at agreement.jwks_url): verify it server-side before charging. - Discovery: /agents//.well-known/ucp (UCP profile) and the A2A agent card. - Examples (MCP and A2A, MIT): https://github.com/bepleez/bepleez-for-dev - A2A: POST /agents//a2a, JSON-RPC message/send, same Bearer key; product record in message.metadata["com.bepleez.shopping.product"]; the agreement is a signed `commit` act (ES256, keys in the seller's UCP profile).
